Beasley Knob GATR May 10 General Discussion

I didn't see a topic for Beasley so I created one. It's only a week away.

Anybody plan on camping? I think I'm going to drag the camper up there and make a weekend out of it. Let's figure out where we want to camp.

I was planning on just a day trip as well.  I'm going to drag a friend along with me that I tried to get down to River Rock in February so he'll possibly decide to start wheeling his jeep.  I just hope it stays dry, it's hard enough for me with my itty bitty AT tires and we'll probably be looking at a closure too.

I'm about 50/50 right now. I might have some stuff to deal with for Mother's day.

Dang, it's raining in Blairsville now.   :(  You guys musts have had a dusty year last year with the drought, but it rains 48 hours before every ride this year.  Mike, I'm ready to go back to Tellico too, just can't this weekend.

I just saw a reported .18" of rain in Blairsville yesterday, not much at all.  I'm planning to call the USFS office this afternoon to check the trail status.  I'll post up when I do.

The trails are definitely OPEN for the weekend  ;D.  Are we still planning on meeting at the Waffle House in Blairsville around 8:15-8:30?  Also, anyone want to designate a CB channel?
