I found it through Google or wrangler forum. Don't remember first ride.

Found some jeep clubs, got on the  forms, liked this one, joined, went to gulches 1st ride on 33's, no lift.   back in 2012.   the rest has been a roller-coaster.

I was looking for a group(s) to go ride with at off road parks I had never been too.
I think river rock may have been the 1st ride with GaTR.

Some how I met Mike Livingston and he invited me to a meet and greet at some bar back in late 05 or early 06. I have just been hanging around ever since. My first ride with the group I believe was at DT and then we had the first GATRFest at River Rock (I miss RR)

2013  I thnk. Googled, found GATR.  What caught my attention was "any 4x4 vehicle, not just Jeeps" I was new to wheelin and wanted a place that me and my truck would be welcome.  Found it!
My first ride was the first annual cook out Trey mountain ride.  Ha, I put it in 4 low for the whole ride!  Now I do most of it in 2 wheel.
I think for new members it should be required to read about "tread lightly" even before joining as a guest.  People just don't know, I was one of them.  Awesome club, awesome members, awesome info.
Get dirty, or get off the trail!

This was true for me as well. After moving to north GA, Google lead to a lot of clubs in the area that all had Jeep in the title or appeared to be Jeep only.  This was a change for me, in North Carolina rides usually consisted of about half jeeps. In GA it seems everything is 98% Jeep.

My first official GATR ride was March 2013 at AOP pre-opening ride.

So...you're saying Georgians are smarter than North Carolinians.

Was at a go Topless event in Newnan in 2014 and met a group of GATR folks at the GATR booth. First ride was AOP in 2014. Second ride was at Chocco and found out what a great group of folk's will  do!

I stopped down at allsouth after getting a quote for getting some work done.  Roland at allsouth told me to check out the club site.

Great info. Haven't gone on a ride yet,  but am planning on one of the up coming.  Also signed up for the core membership ...
