I poured a bottle of water in my RTIC & it was still as cold over a hour later. No ice.

You can buy SS Ozark Trail can koosies at Wal-mart for  $7.78.  They work exactly like the Yeti.

$25 to powder coat a $10 cup. The math doesn't add up.

Update:

I left the cup full of ice and water from yesterday at my desk. This morning around 8:00 am it was still ice cold, but no more ice left in the cup. I just finished the last sip of water at 2:30pm and it was still cool (30hrs)!!  Very impressed. This was tested in all air conditioned environment.

9am to 3:30pm today. I'm happy with rtic.

The RTIC cups have been great. Hard pressed to see any difference in day to day use compared to my Yeti.  Very happy with them.

Lids are interchangeable. The only difference I have found is the RTIC is slightly larger on the bottom and doesn't sit as well in my truck cup holder with the rubber insert in the holder.  Very minor but thought I would note it.  The only reason I noticed it was my daughter came in with her cup after dinner the other night and she had the extra rubber insert from the cup holder on the bottom of the cup.

My experience with the 30 oz is not positive...the lid leaks slightly.  I took the gasket off the lid and compared it to my Yeti gasket...definitely smaller.  I'll post a picture later this week.  The lid is slightly smaller, too.  My other RTIC doesn't fit as tight as my Yeti, but it doesn't leak.

I'll likely just buy a couple Yeti lids and dump the RTIC lids.

I have removed the cup holder insert in my truck since the Yeti and RTIC both were tight.  I'll end up putting a cut out of a mouse pad at the bottom to keep the cup from rattling on the hard plastic.  I rarely use any cup other than the Yeti type anymore.

Interesting, I wonder if you got a lemon because all 4 of the RTIC cup lids are actually tighter than my Yeti and I haven't had any leaking.

At GATRFest, I washed mine before first use by pouring in some vodka and swishing it around and dumping it out.  Not sure what happened, but I got drunk as a skunk drinking margaritas out of it that night.  You'd think these things would come with a warning label or something.
