Dirt every day and other off road shows
« on: March 16, 2017, 02:59:44 PM »
Anybody watching it? I just added it to my netflix watch list and have watched 3 episodes.

Any other suggestions for off road or car shows?

I like it so far. The show is all over the place.
1st episode is a budget buy and budget build land cruiser.
2nd episode is a military chevy with about 20k-25K in parts thrown at it. 12k of it was for cts-v lsa engine.
3rd episode is about old vdub bugs.

Watched an episode the other night. Took a 4cyl TJ got it ready for EJS in 2 weeks... Currie Rock Jock axles, BDS Long arm, 37" Pitbulls, Poison Spyder armor/cage, etc...

Its the same as all of these show's.

"We got 14 days to get this done and I don't know if we can do it"  *Spoilers* They do.

"These parts are so easy to install you can do it in your Garage" *As they are at the manufacturers having them install the Armor and Axles.

"We are trying to keep this thing as a budget build. I've never been able to afford a TJ luckily we found this 4cyl at a great deal" *Now we just install these $30k in parts into it.

"Man I can't believe how well this turned out for the budget we had and time frame we had to work with...."   .... *I believe it.

Haven't watched another episode so I might be wrong but most of those shows are the same and drive me crazy. Misleading people on the actual work involvse

But Just Like Monster Garage.
"7 Days, $5000 budget, Small team to get everything done."
*luckily we get $20k in parts donated and experts from manufacturers come in to help*
"Can't believe we got this done."

Roadkill is a little more honest about what they do.  And, they admit when they are doing something stupid.  Not offroad-oriented though.

And, well, it's an idiotic show.
