I found a place (called Johnson Automotive in Lizella - for Richard) that'll do it for $250. My buddy said both him and his brother have had axle and/or t-case work done there and he does top notch work. I guess I know what my 31 hours of overtime from Sunday-Wednesday are going towards, haha.

Gonna order the parts from PORC. $180 for gears with install kit and $50 for the carrier. So, I'll have gears, rear LS, and rear discs for under $1000. Not bad I reckon, next is axle shafts and an SYE.

You can skip the SYE.  Just take your driveshaft to a shop and have a double cardon joint welded near the TC end.  Thats what I run.  No vibes and cost is about $100.

quite a bit.  I dont suggest running a slip yoke and double cardan on a TJ.

I don't either.    I was just wondering how long that shaft is. I've got my SYE and shaft already. Trying to find a good deal on control arms.
