If I plan on camping do I need to call and book a campsite now, and does anyone know how late I can show up on Friday? I'll be driving up after work Friday evening.

Camping spots are just first come first served, no need to call.

The gate will be open, you can show up whenever....bring a good light if you plan to put up a tent in the dark.

Ok cool, hopefully my light bar will be bright enough.

I might possibly have a couple friends coming with their jeeps as well to give our group a try. Do we have any idea as of now how many people we have going?

I won't be making this ride. I will be selling Raffle Tickets at the UTV race series and cheering on Team Reid.

I went for a day ride yesterday with another group.  It was not as wet as I had expected, so a week with no rain should dry it out even more.

The "loop trails" have gotten harder since the last ride (e.g., Hornets Nest).  Copperhead is buggy only, although the bypass on the right is doable.  GBU about the same.   No one did V-Notch as it was slimy.  One guy in a bouncer did Punisher; said it was water not mud in the hole.  Gauntlet was mucky but not awful.  I didn't get over to the south side of the park,

For the guys who drive their Jeeps to rides like this and want the doors off, do you take them off before you leave?  Or, do you do it at the park?

Depends on the weather. If its chilly in the mornings I leave mine on till I get there and chain them to either someones trailer or a tree.

For those of us that trailer, you can usually just ask someone and leave your doors on their trailer.

Ask?  Lol. Its not uncommon to come off the trail and find doors, tops, windows etc... on my trailer.  One time at AOP ( I think) I found a set of front axle shafts.  :)

But yeah if you don't know them probably best to ask.

I would chain my doors & spare tire to a tree then put up a small tent & throw all my spare parts in it.
