I looked in to buying land in florida...it has been done successfully a few times but I couldnt see making enough money off a park, after paying insurance, supporting my family, paying for power, construction cost, advertising, and covering the cost of a mortgage on a piece of land big enough to make it worth while....500ac x $10k per is $5mil just for the land right? My commercial mortgage on $300k of debt is about $2300 a month so you could imagine what the cost would be for $5mil....there are parks on pieces as small as 100 ac but it would have to be the absolute right terrain to make it worth while....
