I'm running the 04 60 in mine and its been great so far. My buddy with the exo cherokee is running an 03 60 on 40" LTBs and beats the sh%t out of it and hasn't broken yet. The way hes treated his 60 is what sold me on buying the third gen 60 that I bought.
Do Work Aka Moon Man. What you lack in technique make up in throttle! Or a set of cheater tires.

Most LCOG Builds are like a fat girl in Yoga Pants, just cause it fits doesn't mean it works...

Thinking about picking this XJ up and finishing it up before I sell my H3.  What do you guys think?  Good deal?  I'd probably put 33s on it and sell the wheels and tires that are on there.

I agree, and I'm very scared of rust and XJ's, something about the whole sheet metal unibody thing and rust.

Looks like it is sitting at Offroad Outfitters in Dawsonville.  Call Justin there and ask him about it.

The guys sent me some more pics of it.  It's going to need more work than I can chew right now.
Here's the link to more pics if anyone is interested:

It's better than finding cracks in the uni-body {:CH}

It looks like a steal, as for what's causing the overheating, with that many miles it could just be the radiator. I know when I replaced mine, it solved my overheating issues.

Give yours time, if you don't do some mods. soon and you wheel it and hit chit yours will crack. {no} Cracks are easier to repair proper than cancer, especially cancer you don't/can't see. I've dealt with both and will take cracks over cancer, if it's got as much rust through as the photobucket pictures show :o, I promise there is more that you can't see. Look at the holes in you're unibody where salty road water could get and tell me you don't agree. {salute}
