you can use it to torque jam nuts or other type nuts where you want to specific torque but can only get a wrench on it rather than a socket.

It looks like there is a Metal Cloak logo in that picture, they may make one for their control arms. You can get just about any size you want from a number of tool manufactuers, they have been made forever.
