I completely understand your concern.  That would be a lot of weight.  Are the TJ & JK stock tire carriers pretty much equal in the strength department?

rumor is the JK gate and carrier are strong but I don't want to push my luck to far. Do you have a link to the carrie so I can check it out?

Soft top, bikini top, and duster sold!  I do still have the spare mount bike rack, factory bumpers, tow hooks, and mirror movers.

Ok we are interested in the bike rack. May not work on the JK but it will work on Megan's Liberty. her mom has some old bike rack that I am gonna go take a look at Saturday and if not we will grab this one off you.
