Damn, looks like I'll be camping solo. All these hotel reservations. Guys it'll be me, a bonfire, and beer   .

Maybe food.....

As of now my plan is to stay at the Fairfield Inn in Oxford, AL. I booked for Thu and Fri nights. Looking to get a full day wheeling on Fri and Sat and head home Sat evening.

Braver man than me John....wheeling like 5 days before
leaving for Moab / Colorado
I hope I can get there as a shake down run...rather find problems ahead of Moab!

That is not GATR tradition.
2 years ago, MOAB was my shakedown run.

It has also been mine, @Danny Kinder 's and @jc79 's

Shake down was rough for Danny. But he handled it like a pro.

My current jeep went to ejs the week after i finished getting it from stock to 37s.  Must have been a year prior.  The family was with me and our first trail for Madison and me was Pritchetts. It snowed a bit that morning before sunrise making things interesting.  Larry McCrae and Shad, the guy that left him and started Crawler Conceptz was with on the ride as well.  Shad rolled on rocker knocker going straight up hard.

Would have liked to make this ride but already had plans for this weekend and am planning on being there for Memorial Day Weekend.

I thought this discussion was around Morris.  Pretty sure there is a MOAB thread elsewhere.

Last time I was on GBU my hub exploded. Hopefully no damage, flops or rolls for me this trip
