Applebee's in Dawsonville
kvom:
The last time I went to an Applebees was during a ride weekend at Windrock about a decade ago. I don't recall it being bad. I think getting good waitstaff in Dawsonville is not easy.

The problem started when you said. "let's eat at Applebee's". The one in woodstock is soo bad I don't think they will be open for long. Tracy got chicken parmesan with extra change...... there was a dime in the noodles. I mean, how does that even happen? The manager didn't even apologize! He didn't want to take it off the bill even though she refused to eat it and they never offered to make her another one. I don't think I have ever had good food at an Applebee's. Just cheap food....

I agree about the wait staff.
The food was really good. The waitress was not. We paid for 100% of our food & left the tip because most restaurants throw it all in a big pile & then divide it up.
I thi k this is stupid but I am not the manager.

I agree. It doesn't make sense a crappy waiter gets good tips while a great waiter gets less.
My brother in law worked as a waiter years ago & had friends @ different restaurants. I based my comment on his experience.
I think that was & still is the norm around Gainesville. This would be a great question to ask the next trip out.
