JK Rubicon D44 RCV shafts

Dustin McPherson (Dahlonega) on the FoCo FB page as these used (5500miles) shafts for sale for $700.  No idea if this is a good deal or not but thought I'd post it up if someone is looking to go RCV,

Just FYI Warranty doesn't transfer.

You sure? I have a friend that's used the warranty twice even after telling them he's not the original purchaser

**edit- he may not have "told" them, but they didn't bother to ask any questions. Text below is the first break, after the 2nd break he called them and they upgraded him to 300m shafts at no charge since his r&p never broke with his d44 axle, yet two rcv shafts broke

When I bought my JK shafts in 2014 I almost bought @jc79 's but the consensus then was the warranty didn't transfer.  He could have warrantied them for me but I just went with a new set.

Interesting read. It's also from 2011, so makes me wonder if they changed their approach as they grew or if my friend really just did get lucky.

If the seller is the original buyer, I'd ask if he wouldn't mind assisting with any warranty issues should they come up (just in case you can't get it done)
