I was able to find this for the Seqatchie River which runs parallel to the Cove's waterway, Owen Spring Branch.

https://waterdata.usgs.gov/tn/nwis/uv/?site_no=03571000&PARAmeter_cd=00065,00060

It'll give some indication I think of the level.

Looks like it is going up to all the rain over the last few days. Not sure how much water they let out but I don't think it's like the hooch deal.

From what I understand, yes.

With how popular kayaking/canoeing is, I'm surprised I didn't find a site with more data.    But, it's at least something.

This ride has alot of different things to consider. There are deep river crossings, large boulder fields, muddy sections and low hanging limbs and tight trails were scratching can occur. With all the rain we have had I bet it will be fairly deep crossings and muddy trails. If you are not locked you might want to pass as it might mean you have to get pulled around alot by a strap and that makes for a long day for everyone.

How will we know how deep the creeks are prior to next Saturday?

No they don't. But stockers do and this is an open ride so just trying to give everyone a heads up so they don't get in over their capability and the others don't have to waste a day winching or dragging someone around. I would rather put more info out there than not enough. I am sure some of you recall our open beasley knob rides and how much fun those were... NOT ;)
