This ride has alot of different things to consider. There are deep river crossings, large boulder fields, muddy sections and low hanging limbs and tight trails were scratching can occur. With all the rain we have had I bet it will be fairly deep crossings and muddy trails. If you are not locked you might want to pass as it might mean you have to get pulled around alot by a strap and that makes for a long day for everyone.

How will we know how deep the creeks are prior to next Saturday?

Man, I'm really wanting to go on this ride.  Some of y'all have seen my truck on the rides at Gulches, Morris, Beasly.  Long bed Chevy K1500, 2" lift, 33's, open/open, IFS.  Not worried about scratches.  What concerns me is the high water (not to worried if water gets in cab a little).
I didn't have any issues at the parks mentioned, but i also knew where not to go and had bypasses if needed.  I don't want to hold up the trail by having to be pulled out.   Opinions?
Get dirty, or get off the trail!

Not an ideal place for a long bed full size truck that's for sure. Some spots are really tight and require good turning radious. Not sure your truck would work well here. Plus some of the drops and boulders might give that truck problems being open open. IFS as well. Alot of big boulders and such.

When I went a few years ago, a few large trees were down and blocking the trail. I small bypass had already been cut, but it was a very tight fit and a few 4 door jeeps took some body damage. I can only imagine the difficulty of a full size trying to take that same path since there were no other options

Kevin, its not a place that I would want to find its limitations.

Option 1: buy a TJ
Option 2: ride shotgun
