Heading to Prentice Cooper state park in Tenn.

I will be heading to progress cooper tomorrow morning at 7am   9/2/17.  .  Will try to post Trail pictures for any who have not been there.  I have to confess I have been a little frustrated trying to find good places to drive off-road in North Georgia.

This was a fun place to go.  Too easy for tricked out crawlers but I drove for  an  hour on the Ranger with my wife then took the F250 down the trails.  Trails were difficult enough to require 4wd and none that i driove needed much lift.   Lots of elevation changes but was never STEEP like beasely knob.  Best  part was you had to think and drive a lot of the time.  Lots of shift from 4 hi to lo and back.  Lots of puddles but never slipped a tire.   (I dont do spin outs bc i we need to be good stewards).   Best thing was that after 5 hrs of continuous driving I only covered a 3rd of it.

I will definitely go again.  May give a shout out in advance in case any other member wanted to go as well.  I go somewhere as often as i can....about every other weekend.  Usually try to get somewhere near dawn then leave before all the yayhoos show up.  Not that i dont like people but my crewcab 250 fits a trail like a big chick fits a miniskirt  and it is easier if it isnt crowded.  That and I try to get home in time to spend some quality weekend time with the family

 //SLAMIN//.  I  am hdg there Saturday.   Leaving my house six am and should arrive there in my red f250 by 730 to 8am.  Will ride the trails till my bottom is tired...prolly 2pm.  Would be happy to see you there if you can make it but no worries of ya cant.   :-))
