Kevin's first Glock
« on: November 01, 2017, 03:46:01 AM »
Ok so I bought a new Glock 19 gen 3 at the gun show David
mentioned. Got it for $399 then add tax. Went by the range
Monday after work and the first thing I have to say is, don't
go like 6 months without range time! Being that long and
then with a new gun.....it wasn't pretty. LOL

Put about 100 rounds thru it and started getting a handle on it.
The Glock shot good and felt really good. I'm real happy with it.
Only thing I noticed when I carried was it prints more than the
G2 Millennium I normally carry. The barrel is longer and sticks
down past my shirt...and yes I only do OWB holster.

Kevin I use this Galco with my 19. You are more than welcome to try it and see if you like the way it sits in your waist.

Nice review!

Are you allowed to carry at work?  If not do you keep the holster on?

I used to leave the holster on. Then I started
taking it off and leaving both in the car. It take
less than 30 seconds to put on and take off.

You'll love the G19.  I have a Gen 2 that I bought in '92 or '93 before I moved to Atlanta.  I carried it for a while and still do at times in the winter, but it has a heavy print.  Love the G43 but I'm not as accurate with it as I am the G19.

I also love the 43 as it’s my daily carry. I keep the 19 at the night stand with a light and MOA sight! It’s my mini shotgun when the alarm goes off at 2 am
