Gwinnett had plenty of slick roads and cars in the ditches. Gonna freeze again tonight!

Made it to work at 6:15. 42 miles from Braselton to Tucker. Got down 85 before they closed it. Slippin and slidin! Yee-haw. Hope I can get back home! Would have been nice to have new tires on the truck. At 61000 miles on stock tires bought in Feb/2015. Not a lot of tread left. Just enough.

Damn bro, should have taken the Jeep!
It has heat lol

I went to the hardware store in the Jeep to get items to repair an air hose in the shop.  Turned onto Hwy 9 at Post road and did a 270 spin at 2 mph.  Luckily no other traffic in the area.

Hit the deep v ditch in my f250 around 50mph. Popped right through it and broke the plastic arm diverter on the bottom of the bumper.

Driving down 129 to toward Gainesville and the back came around all of a sudden. I corrected it once to keep from going across the median but it wouldn't come back around. Headed straight for the ditch and I drove into it, but hard, then came out. When I came back on 129 i suspected I might have hurt the sterring. Nope all was good. Continued on my way home. Solid axle for the win.

Amazing the strength of the in-ground set with the wires making a vector.

For sure.  That is a double circuit line... 2 sets of three phase.  lots of tension on that angle.  That steel pole is bolted to a concrete/rebar footing that is probably 15 to 25 foot deep.
