Agreed. Once you are at or over 3" on a TJ you will usuallyhave vibes. May not notice them but once you get an SYE kit it is like a cadillac... well not really but you get the point. ;)

If they are off of a Rubicon then don't expect more than an inch.  Is your jeep a 4cyl?  If it is a I6 then dont expect anything unless your springs are shot.  You don't need that much lift to run 33's.  4 inches of lift is plenty.  I have about 3 inches of lift in the front and 2 in the rear and i clear 35's.  My best advice to you is dont listen to those idiots on jeepforum or jeepsunlimited that tell you you need a certain lift or a certain amount of lift to run a certain tire.  More than half of them are web wheelers that are still on BB and just repeat what they have heard from others.

Good advice! I ran 33"s on a 2" BB. and had the front end disconnected. No problems!

I hate you TJ guys. If I wanted to run 33"s on my BB I would have to trim a huge amount of metal and extend my bumpstops way out and get new control arms to keep the rear tire away from the door.
