Hoping to go to Wooly's soon.
You should.
It’s a great park owned by really cool family. Plus, it’s as easy or as challenging as you wish. Plus it’s beautiful out there.
I still think it might be worth the drive for some of the Georgia based GATR folks to visit ; it’s just a long drive from , like, Dalton or Union Co to Lynnville,Tn ...
yell at me when ya think you’re goin
J
You got any pics from woolys? Most of what I saw online looked like sloppy mud
Sure,
@patman Admittedly, i don't have tons of images because I am always alone out there, (
thus why i was so excited to get with GATR)
but, here is an album -
https://imgur.com/a/lNIts - I threw together of images from Wooly's Off Road with several of them containing descriptions where needed.
And I had this video of me goin up the entrance driveway (
bunny slope)...that terrain is most of what is found there but there are a dozen or so very challenging rock trails that even bouncers /buggy can struggle with there.
Typical Tn. granite, sandstone, flint and shale. There is plenty of far heavier obstacles that the driveway, but that plus picts might give ya a little clearer idea that Wooly's is not just a mud hole for quads. If there is a spec of rain , the place does become a boggers delight that I steer clear of unless I am jonesin for trails so bad I will deal with the slop but that is rare.
