@spooledyou08 very nicely done, glad I got to see and talk to you briefly

That reminded me of something Jeff "Biscuit's buddy" said to me on Friday
afternoon. You wheel the Hell of that thing. Same to you Brad and to
Chris and the guys I rode with Saturday. Regardless of your rig and tire size....
if you take it up and over things that maybe you shouldn't have. Awesome

That's what I love about our club. Yes we have everything from mild to
wild but we separate into groups. Each group face's different trails and level
of difficulty. So everyone wheels the Hell out of it on each ride.

With that in mind.....don't be bashful about entering those pictures for
the POTM contest. You never know what other members might
appreciate and admire about your rig on a certain trail regardless of
tire size or amount of money invested. Enter that picture!
@tjsahara00

I appreciate your support. Sometimes it's funny to look around and say "which one of these things is not like the other." Lol. I enjoy seeing the look on people's faces when my little tracker makes it through something. A lady this weekend said it is like a cockroach, it just goes everywhere.

But I agree, I think most people started where Chris and I are at, smaller tires with no lockers, and can appreciate the difficulty of a seemingly easy thing for the rest of y'all.

The first time I wheeled at AOP, it was wet and I was driving a stock JKU with low tread on the tires. I had difficulties on the green trails, and ended up parking it and riding with @jc79 for the rest of the day. This was after @Jeepson33s dented my passenger rear quarter panel by flexing his guns and pushing me away from a tree while I had to winch up a damn green trail.

I think we have all been there at some point. I remember wheeling stock on All terrains tires and getting stuck. Wheeling open/open will definitely teach you to pick better lines and or how to winch.

Try wheeling a long bed truck with open/open!  I went places I never thought I could go!
Get dirty, or get off the trail!

So last year CFR cost me ~$2-2.5k in repairs on the Jeep(new winch rope, new rear coilover, repair of rear coilover, new tire, repair of torn tire).   This year it'll probably be around the same for my left knee when I max out my deductible.  Got MRI results back - Meniscus is destroyed, cartilage is fighting the good fight but losing, and bone is very bruised so left knee is getting scoped the Monday after Jeep beach.  No flying for a couple weeks and 4-6wks rehab.

Good news is it's not as bad as initially indicated and I might be good for Colorado.
