Century Arms GP1975 AK47
« on: March 30, 2018, 02:14:55 PM »
Ok I went down by the creek today and was going to shoot
my newly acquired AK47. Had 2 magazines loaded thanks to
my purchase from Mark. Took a gallon jug full of water to see
it explode....

First thing I notice was how much more power and kick it has
compared to the 9mm carbine I just sold. Remember I'm only
a couple years into shooting. Never did any deer hunting or any
thing.

I stepped off 60 yards, first loaded mag would not click into place
so I tried the other loaded mag and it fit. Shot it and was impressed
didn't hit crap. Had 5 or 6 jams....moved up some aand still couldn't
hit gallon of water. Ok 30 rounds down.....tried inserting other mag
again. Would not work so I took the ammo out of it and put into the
factory magazine. I don't know about those sights or how to adjust
them. Never did pop my gallon of water.

I will go with a coworker to the range and get him to help me get
it sighted in. Even with sucking at shooting I'm pleased with what to
me is a kick ass gun I just got to learn it and practice.
