Damn and I had gotten approval from the wife! Fingers crossed the forecast changes (supposedly we were 70% chance of rain today and I didn’t see a drop)

Yeah, I didn’t mean to instigate premature plan demolition, heh. The NOAA forecast just looked hilariously saturated...Danny is right , so is @TravisMac ; we all know it can say 80% rain/thunderstorm then only have a 15min shower & move along. I say we inspect satellite/ radar tnite/Thur mornin to determine but I’m no group decision maker! ( thankfully , heh)
Problem with this park is, it doesn't matter if it rains Friday or Saturday, the rain tue-Thur is enough to saturate the park and take a week to dry back out. Not saying I'm out, but I am getting a little tired of wheeling in the rain/mud.

Unless the forecast changes dramatically for Thursday and Friday (80% both day with thunderstorms) its going to be a slop fest.

Anyone down for June 2? Hell, I'd even be down for a Memorial Day run

Barely rained at the house (EAST ATL) this mornin', but it unloaded here at work in Austell...coworker that lives in Breman said it was bone dry at his house this mornin'
Chris and I have ridden Morris wet and it wasn't raining when we were there. Soupy mud up hill almost needed a paddle, especially where they were clear cutting out trees. But if your willing to clean mud off the jeep for 2 hours afterwards, it's still a fun park.

If weather kills this ride, I’m up for a replacement trip somewhere decent if I have an open weekend.

I wish the damn rain could be timed differently.  The forecast shows 60% on Thu, 80% Fri and Sat.  I need to wheel, but I don't want to do it in mud and slick red clay.  It pains me to do it, but I'm out for this one.  I'm not interested in a slop fest.

Still holding out for a break in the clouds. It rained here in braselton this morning, but been bone dry the rest of the day. Today was forecast to be the worst of the rain till Sunday. I'd definitely be down for an off weekend wheeling trip. Chocco or busted knuckle would be awesome. If busted knuckles rock is anything like our family property in Huntsville, it's super slick even if there's too much humidity in the air. Never been, so I'd like to hear from someone who has, but I'm down for whatever.

One of my good buddies that lives up here in Cheatham Co is one of the cameramen for BK. He says it’s better in ways than AOP & a must ride park.
Fwiw, his thing is bouncers . I can’t imagine it besting aop , but then again ,  this isn’t a guy to make stuff up , either.
I just can’t get into the mud wheelin thing but am nearly desperate. I’ve looked frwrd to this for 10 weeks .
However,
I’ve  pushed my luck (& little axles ) in slick stuff every time I’ve been out in the past year & don’t feel into pinballing all over that far from home.
sheez.
