After this past weekend, I'm going to price getting my A.C. converted to R134.
Heat didn't bother me as a kid. We never ran the a.c. in the house- ever. But as I get older I seem to be more sensitive to it. Plus, my wife requires a.c., 24/7.

yeah, and the 3.6 runs even hotter than the 3.8l ; I circumvented all that by slappin one of the best upgrades I ever did in the form of the UPI aluminum shroud with a Spal 18"https://www.universalpartsinc.com/shopping/productDetails.aspx?i=751005, over-the-top CFM ( h20 proof) fan in the four door.
I have my FlashPaq set to fire that step-voltage divider on at low -regular = 188 degrees and high at 198 degrees; that's why my JKU sounds like the Concord taking off pretty much constantly. But, i do not think it's ever reached over 200 degrees F .
Don't get me wrong ; I keep the house so AC'ed that my kids wear wool sweaters inside in July ; I guess growin up with farm trucks done somethin to me... [oldskool]
