Junkyards in and around Macon
« on: June 22, 2008, 06:43:24 PM »
Anyone know of any decent junkyards around Macon?  Preferably with a lot of early to mid 90s F-150s?  I'm wanting to replaced my cracked, beat up dashboard.  And If I'm lucky, score some after-market parts that the junkyard doesn't know are installed on some of these pickups!

Helped you out with a quick search. There were a TON of F-150's made in the 90's so I bet one of them has what you need.

I've done quite a bit of searching, but as far as my experience with junkyards and u-pull-it type yards, its better to talk to someone who has actually been to it.  So I'm just hoping someone has some first hand knowledge.

The only one half way decent is bobs pick and pull. He dont have a whole lot and dont change it out often but prices are reasonable. I usually get a big list together and go to the pull a part in atl. They have almost anything for fords.

I might have to check out Bobs.  I don't really want to spent $75 in gas to go to Atlanta to spend even more money on parts.
