So what’s the story on the 3 wheeling?
If I had to guess it probably went something like Dave drove it and a wheel fell off. But I’m not 100%

Clarke is correct. Dem is some heavy tires. I was beating on it pretty good on the left side of Bad without issue. My 760 joints & stock shafts impressed me.

I was driving up the mnt. I started slipping so I stopped. I went to go again & it wouldn't move. The tire was wedged in the wheel well.
The problem was my lug nuts backed off & the wheel tore off 2 studs & ruined the others.
I backed down the mountain all the way to the bridge- 200 yards or so. Scott got me across the bridge & I drove it from there onto the trailer.
Damage done was a pin hole in my brake line, 5 wheel studs, caliper bolt & scratched my wheel up.
Once on the trailer, I checked my passengers side lug nuts & spun one off by hand.
I replaced my front studs with longer ones since my new wheels are a inch thicker. I'm guessing I didn't tighten them to spec.
A pair of brake lines, caliper bolt & new studs "should" fix it.

Huge thanks to all of the crew who were there to help out.
Special thanks to @Scott F.

Sounds fairly minor. Hopefully it's just what you described!

Worst case scenario is a WJ knuckle swap. I could use the better braking with these meats anyway.

Sounds like you needed more “Ugga ugga” with the air gun, or work out more

Ha, ha!!!
It was actually a Milwaukee cordless impact. I might have been a little lite on the trigger.

I quit removing lug nuts by hand. I broke several studs off after a rather large bowl of Wheaties.

Hope it's an easy and quick fix up.

Yes. The psi was 5 to 8. I have a foot of ground clearance under the diffs.

Saturday ride update:

Chris ,Dave & I think Mike , had to split early Sat.

Cadence and me had pulled in at 2am , hillariously see Layman still up , watchin' the fire. We said  g'nite to Chris and then we slept in our truck . We got up at 6am to sound of rain on windshield.
Thankfully it stopped after few min .

6:30am unloaded , cordials, then we headed out& crawled on that mnt from 8:30 am ,  at frantic pace ...
 we raced the weather.

I don't think we could cram more trail riding into such small window of time.

It helped that we were all really into it. So did the GMSR radios. Can't say the same for that awful trail map, tho.  [no2]

Although we only got between 4-5 hrs of riding in , it was one of the better times I've had in some time.
It was brief , hardline, fun and different, all at same time; there was only four of us of which for two ( Drew in a kick ass Dakota crawler w/ a crazy flex LA setup. & Ryan in his open '17 JKUS I think ...he flogged her open open over stuff he shouldn't have made it over) this was these guys 1st GATR ride ? I know I met @hosalabad in that sweet Blazer at AOP a few yrs back  .
@longarmwj @ILOVEDIRT , welcome to GATR.

Well, they fit-in here ,100%.

 , we all hit:

Copperhead
 Rock Garden
Turnherover [sic],
Destabilizer
Gulches
some other or two & wanted more . All before 12:30pm

Then it started to get colder.

The air smelled like rain & we were on that scary *ss mountain tht we all wanna be near when it's sorta dry....but , I was imagining it wet + tryin to get down & it made me shiver .

I sggsted we split ,as painful as that was & ultimately got home safely. can now enjoy recalling these new friends and such a great morning crawling at Morris Mountain ORV w/ them, my daughter  + GATR.
