PSC system is super smooth and worth the money

WTO Offroad is cheaper works but not as smooth a least on a JK. A TJ could be different because a different gear box and pump.

I just did all the variations with my JK and started with WTO. Finished with the complete PSC.

I had the WTO kit. Great in the rocks, sucked for parking at the mall. In all seriousness, it was very tough to turn at low speeds such as when pulling in to a parking space. Off-road it was great though, I had 37s at 8 psi and it was a world of difference compared to stock.

If you can swing the PSC kit I’d go for that

Hybrid here.  Self-tapped box, stock pump, PSC ram.  Parking at the mall is very easy with 37s.

This is the same setup as Kevin's TJ had. Worked great.

Make sure you mount the ram correct though.

Whatever you choose, makes sure the everything matches. Ram piston to flow of the pumps, hose sizes, filters, and cooling the fluid.

Mine is a hybrid as well. Same set up.
Came with a stock diameter pump pulley. I purchased a PSC smaller diameter pulley to overdrive the pump. Night and day difference at low RPMs. Whoever built it didn't install a cooler. First trip in the woods on the overdriven pump, the fluid got really hot. Installed a cooler, everything is good so far. I'll know more when it gets hot outside.

I have the WTO kit, its a great price point but def. a good thing if you run 37's or larger.  I like it, it was/is a good upgrade/investment for my rig.  IMO

Hybrid here. Box was rebuilt and drill/tapped by WTO. They offer upgraded seals and bearings iirc. PSC rebuild was just too insanely expensive. Pump, ram, reservoir, and hoses are all PSC stuff. Hoping to test on Thursday night. Will update with performance soon...ish.

Ironic you posted this at 8:00... at 7:00 I was researching systems... I found the PSC is offering a gear box alone that has a larger sector shaft and piston (equal to a 2500/3500 Ram)  and they claim the box and new pump could eliminate the need for the full hydro assist kit. Once you look at the pricing for the Box ($1350), Pump ($525), Cooler/PSI hose ($130) Return hose ($60) you are into it for $2065 vs the big bore PSC kit for $2584.
It certainly is a battle and I was thinking of going hybrid as well, which seems to be working well for many.
