I'm thinking on buying a cheap foldable carchoal grill and some special Brazilian cut (Picanha) to do a typical Brazilian Barbecue.

Would need to know how many people on Friday to calculate the amount of meat.

Who is in?

I may scoot up on Friday night, and participate in the fire (chip in too), but I'll be on my own for grub.  Thanks for the offer, Carlos.

I'll pitch in $20 for some firewood!

I would be in for some of that BBQ as well. There's 3 of us. I can pitch in $ also, just let me know. So, is Brazilian BBQ the same as from Argentina? We had some friends in Miami from Argentina and the food was amazing.

It's similar but not the same.
We use a cut that is not very valuable in the US or Argentina, named Picanha, what is very smooth and juicy.

Also on a typical Brazilian Barbecue we do on the grill:
- A salty sausage of porch named "Lingui軋 Toscana"
- Garlic Bread
- Chicken's hearts
- A brazilian cheese named "Coalho"

I found already Picanha, Sausage Toscana and Chicken's heart in Marietta, the cheese Coalho is very expensive here so some friends bring it from Brazil when they come (I have some at home).

The Garlic bread is a Brazilian bread that I buy on a Brazilian Bakery and I do the garlic paste.

Enjoy some pics of some recent ones...

I've eaten beef hearts at a Peruvian restaurant.  Chicken hearts would be new.

Now I知 hungry!

@Carlos LOBO  you'll fit right in sir. This is definitely a Eating Club with a wheeling problem. Last time I had some Brazilian BBQ it was cooked vertically on a spit around a big camp fire for about 4 hours.

I wasn't planning on coming up Friday night...I may need to rethink that.

I feel like home! :-)

This Brazilian BBW cooked vertically is very typical of the south of Brazil, I know how to do it, but it is not so "practical", the grill is much quicker! :-)
