Shielding Gas

So it doesn't look I can get any here around Roswell, so, since I have to drive to BFE, is there anyplace better than the other?

I seen airgas, praxair, tractor supply, I can order off ebay.......how far does this gas go, should I get a 20, 40 or 80 cf?

I get mine at NexAir in Marietta, on 41 near the Walker School

I use a 20 pound bottle because space is a. Issue in my garage. It works out ok but when the gas store is not convenient or not close...the bigger the better.

I had a used 80cf tank at first, and as soon as it needed to be recertified I went up to a 120. If you are welding a lot, you may be surprised how quickly you can go through the smaller bottles

If Airgas or whatever store you choose isn't close you should go with the biggest bottle you have space for. 80 should be good unless you're welding every day or forget to turn it off and have a small leak

Gas and Supply in Cumming is the cheapest around. That’s who I bought my bottle from. We use Airgas here at work but I didn’t want to rent.

I think the closest one to me is like 14 or 17 miles away. Which, I guess on a Saturday wouldn't be too bad.

I get my tanks at the Airgas in Holly Springs.

Ok, so I found a place that's only 20 minutes from my house called Airgas Store. To purchase an 80cf bottle with gas is $202 and then $65 for the fills. From what I have seen on line this seems to be reasonable.

Also, they guy acted like he didn't know what C25 shielding gas was and said I needed ARCD 75/25?
