Great ride today. Special thanks to Chuck and Josh for spotting and to Team Allsouth for pulling cable when I got high centered on that stump.  Awesome meeting several new members that came out to play this weekend. I didn’t take many pictures.

Took Dave’s daughter, Georgia  for quick ride at the dirt track,  went to turn and had no steering.  Broke all three bolts on steering box, no steering whatsoever. Special thanks to Kevin, Joshua, Rick and Zack for hellping our,  very special thanks to Big dave for loading up my Jeep on his trailer and will be making the drive to hiawassee in the morning, then he will be coming back to get his Jeep.

I’m just thankful this did not happen on interstate doing 65!

Other than that, I had a great trip, next ride I’ll be on tons, 37’s and hydro assist ( I needed a new steering box anyway)

Holy crap....that’s crazy
A good reminder for doing pre and post trip inspections...steering loss on the highway would be turrible..

Only picture I took

Hayden took some good ones when we were at the top of 41.  I’ll get those and post.
Still coveting his YJ, Tony?...I get it...super nice ride.

After today's ride a big group of us went to the local Mexican food joint, which was cool.

What was even cooler:  The tab being picked up by Jeff ( @Jeff.Allsouth )!  Many thanks, Jeff.

Great day of wheeling!  Plenty of solid trails! Seems  like it’s been forever since I’ve been out on a dry day and not 700 degrees.  My daughter  had a great time as well!

Big thanks to Drew and Zach for helping out when I lost a bead. And nice treat from the Allsouth crew for dinner!

Terrible job taking pics, but here are a few.

I would not lie; from atop that ledge , you couldnt tell tht rock my pssgr frnt is on did NOT appear separated from the whole band. in fact , I'd intended to be 1'-2' to drvr but loose soil up top lemme slide about that much. that put me on it & both me & @Trailabite knew wtf was goin down.

me.

I want to go up that b*tch ,now.

@Carlos LOBO , you're awesome for capturing that. thanks & you fit RIGHT in, knowing it seems by default that this is a drinking & eating club who wheels hard. It sounds like I missed one of the world-changing , Brazilian meat mastery meals. :(

whatever all of that stuff, welcome + I look forward to riding with you again, dude.  ;)

No jeep carnage for me. But had a bad night at the motel.  I went to local emergency room and was diagnosed with infected gall bladder.  I managed to load up and drive home Saturday morning and went straight to Northside in Cumming.  Surgery last night and feeling pretty good now.  Home tomorrow.

I guess you would have rather had a broken driveshaft huh? That's sucks. At least you got it taken care off and get to take feel good pills for a couple days.
