12+ hour road trip for Georgia & I.
Drug Cannonball Kevin's ZJ from AOP to Hiawassee.  Went back to AOP to get my pile & back to Gainesville.
Hindsight: go back the following weekend to wheel, THEN trailer it home.

Clarke said the same thing. Like I told him, no I'm not but thanks anyway.

I would not lie; from atop that ledge , you couldnt tell tht rock my pssgr frnt is on did NOT appear separated from the whole band. in fact , I'd intended to be 1'-2' to drvr but loose soil up top lemme slide about that much. that put me on it & both me & @Trailabite knew wtf was goin down.

me.

I want to go up that b*tch ,now.

@Carlos LOBO , you're awesome for capturing that. thanks & you fit RIGHT in, knowing it seems by default that this is a drinking & eating club who wheels hard. It sounds like I missed one of the world-changing , Brazilian meat mastery meals. :(

whatever all of that stuff, welcome + I look forward to riding with you again, dude.  ;)

Hi Jeffrey.
Thanks for the kind words.
I really enjoyed meeting each of you. This was exactly the kind of club I was looking for, friendly on the drinking & eating, and responsible when wheeling.

Thank you ALL for the great time together on Friday and Saturday!

After these 2y away from the trails, I finally got back to that feeling after an Off-roading weekend, tired but reenergized! :-)

I'm convinced tht I'm so bad at snagging pix , the karma is why I never have any of my Jeep,  [help]

but , I did manage to grab phone & snip two that aren't just of Shawn or Jimbo's taillights ...

Sharon and I had a great time due to a lot of great people. Thanks to everyone that helped out and took the time to look after someone other than themselves.

We all had a great time from Allsouth hitting the trail. I bit of a different pace for Jeff and the RZR and what he is used to. We broke off towards the end of the day and got to open up the RZR on the RZR Life race trails. Man its crazy how its just absorbs the terrain, never been a go fast kind of guy, but it was blast for sure!

Hopefully my Jeep will be ready for the next one for a mild shake down after the new axles go in.

One poser shot of the RZR I grabbed. This was also a 'shake down run' of a new media guy for us (Hunter, for those who met him) so I might have some other pictures and videos to post later in the week too, we'll see how it turns out.

Thanks for such a great and friendly welcome and all the hospitality all day!
We had a great time and my 6 yr old asked if we could go back this weekend.

It was a beautiful day and I dont think we could have had a better introduction to wheeling.  We met some GREAT people (apologies for not remembering all the names).  Jason was great to talk us through so much stuff and help with the learning curve and show us around on some of the green trails when my 10 yr old got a little anxious.  By the end of the day my daughter was navigating us around and the kids were all out of the jeep scouting out lines and trails like little guides.

With the exception of slamming into that stump as i was climbing one of the first hills of the day we had no incidents at all.  The rubi rails did their job, i noticed as I was cleaning the jeep yesterday, and the wheels have a little rash on them but nothing some black touch up paint wont fix.

Now, I just have to get this steering thing diagnosed and corrected once and for all.  Still having to make mini/micro steering movements to keep it going straight.  I feel like i am all over my lane.
(for another thread)

Thanks so much to everyone! It was a pleasure to meet all of you and see the comradeship and the help you were giving each other.

I have now added to my list of must haves, like a radio (thanks again Jason for the peace of mind you let us borrow, it made such a difference with our confidence riding around alone after lunch!)

I had a good time the one trail we went on. My son wasn't feeling good at all. Just staring out the window and didn't want to get out when we were waiting for people to climb things. That wasn't like him at all.
Chose to leave after the one trail.
The jeep did great. I need to get it on more challenging stuff again.

Some pictures from the one new trail.

Ruby and I had a wicked good time. Thanks everyone for leading and letting us ride with you.
She was super bummed when we broke on Friday. We thought our weekend was done.
Took the drive shaft to Chattanooga Driveline Service and Tommy retubed it so we could wheel Saturday.
Killer service, we got there @ 4:30 Friday afternoon, they close at 5:00.
He stayed late to fix it. So cool... Can't find guys like that everyday.
