I'm thinking on leaning more towards a plant based diet but having an extremely hard time putting together a food plan getting daily protein of 180 to 200 g. Calorie intake around 2200 per day.

These items are out:

No dairy
No gluten
No soy

I don't eat a lot of red meat but do eat a lot of chicken and pork once in a while.  It's good to mix it up.  I've been bodybuilder lean in my younger days and never cut out meat.

Buy a book called Zero Belly Diet.  It's not so much a diet as it is a change in eating lifestyle.  It talks mainly about your gut health and foods that shut off fat genes.  Having healthy bacteria in your gut helps you get lean and remove visceral fat.

Brining back the dead lol. You mention visceral fat, apparently, this is what I'm fighting now and its very slow going.
