Lots of spring pressure and awkward takedown procedures for sure. I'm always scared to scratch the slide on such an expensive handgun. So fun to shoot though because it's so accurate. Spent a couple of weeks out West in the desert shooting the 1911 tore up my hands but well worth it.

It's a great platform. I had a Kimber Eclipse that I sold before I moved to GA. It was a great shooter. I almost pulled the trigger on a STI Trojan a couple years ago and still want one but I know it would just mostly sit in the safe.
