its ok buddy, you get to wheel with me this weekend! That and if I find a lot or something really cool while in Mississippi I am sure the nerd side in you and Will will come out and we can carpool down for some more hunting. The one spot I know of that I want to go to is the old Jane Charles place in the corner of the property (no actual house is still standing, just the flat lot in the woods).... There are more old homesteads there. I mean off hand I know where 5 water wells are. I am sure my unlces and grandma will know.

i would like to check out fort yargo with a medal detector as well.... sounds like we need to get together for a weekend of forest road rides and "history" hunting

There was/is a Union Calvery Camp behind my neighborhood. A sewer pipe was installed back there and in all the soil movement, a bunch of old Civil War artifacts were unearthed. My family went back and we saw a guy who had already found a couple of buckles and shells.
