After much deliberation, this project is done for me. We have decided to move closer to the grandchildren (Nashville, TN) and for now, it would just be easier if it was out of the way.
An even better reason to one ton the JKU.

I haven't broke my D44's yet!

Better to see them while they still work!

good god , those Currie housings arouse me.

Is that a good sentence to type before declaring how awesome it's gonna be to have Chuck as a neighbor?  [smoke]

That comment scares me!

Y'all live some dramatic lives...thank goodness mine isn't like that.

I hope it was for the best.  Is Mighty Mo back on in time for Mo'vember?

lol, I was already planning on putting that thing in storage somewhere. It's long a stupid story. I went to apply for a loan and the bank required a letter from my employer stating that I am an employee working remotely from our home office. Not sure if this is because I'm coming from out of town or if it's COVID related or both maybe. Anyway, my company is not willing to provide such letter at this time....even though, they have already told me that I will be running the next project that we get, meaning that I will be working remotely lol. No big deal. I'm perfectly happy right where we are. Sherry on the other hand, is a little upset.

Tell me about! We have been going back and forth to Clarksville every weekend for the last month looking at homes/property. I'm kind of glad it stopped.

I was looking forward to not being the only GATR Georgia transplant on the other side of Monteagle + having ya as a neighbor.
I wonder if your employer would have some tax or separate expense if they have to report that they aren't operating w/ emoyees in the offices or something. That's strange they wouldn't give status in letter. Legal dept , maybe or some federal subsidy could be affected , but wadda I know?

Who knows. If it was just up to my boss it wouldn't be an issue. Corporate has made all provisions required by CDC to open our office back up, but are not forcing us to go back in. They even tell us that if we can work from home with out any issues that's what we should be doing. Also, it could be COVID related as well. I do have to fill out a weekly report that states if my employees are working from home or not and or if any of them have ben tested or not.

My parents went through this same thing with getting documented letters from their employers that they are allowed to work remotely. They just bought a house in Chattanooga, TN last week and moved there and that was one of the things their lender required. I think its strange that they made them do that.
