Heck of a fun weekend!  Cold as a mofo, but still a great time. 

I didn’t take many pics.  I’ll dig the few up and post. 

Friday afternoon I had a power steering fitting on the back of the pump loosen. Got in there and fixed that.  Strangely, later that night(nothing good happens on a night ride) I had a oil cooler fitting loosen up and leak on my headers.  Apparently motor oil will burn if it gets hot enough because I was on it pretty hard on some obstacle and we had a little Yule Log going on.  Element fire extinguisher worked like a charm.   Got that fitting fixed and was able to wheel Saturday. 

I will need to revisit both those fittings to see what’s up with them.

Enjoyed the trip. Just wet enough to keep it interesting. And I also suck at taking pics, but we wheeled some nastiness!

First, I should point out that have the CBR race pump and bracket in the garage and have been putting off buying the last few pieces and installing.  But I also had a spare p pump on the trailer, knowing that mine wouldn’t last long.

A few of us wheeled Thursday night for several hours, then only lasted a trail or two on Friday when my steering gave out. Swapped in the spare and wheeled end of the day Friday and that one burned up too. Likely my own fault cause I didn’t fully flush the lines. Ronnie had a spare that we reused with my reservoir, flushed everything and got that one in Sat morning.  Wheeled most of the day Saturday, then hopped in with Pat for the evening ride.

Probably the best trip I've had to AOP. Not to much damage to my Jeep except for busting the right taillight, ripping off the sway bar bracket, bending the tie rod a little bit more and normal scrapes and dents. Like Sam said we hit just about every blue trail in the park. Need to go through my camera and get some more pics but here is one of Sam with the drivers tire in the air.
