Anybody planning on going to the Dixie Run at Tellico, Oct. 3-5 ?

FYI.
You have to register/pay and the price goes up after Sept. 16.
Just thought I'd let ya know.

I have been wanting to go to Tellico these past few weeks BUT I wont go during an event like this. Myabe a random Nov/Dec weekend

No way I am spending a weekend on a mountain parking lot. 2 good trails to choose from. No thanks!

You're right, it's not a great time to ride.  I hear it's a 12 mile parking lot.  But let's face it, we can ride some other time.  Dixie Run is held to support S4WDA and the Rescue Tellico efforts. The temporary closure of a particular trail shouldn't be used as an excuse not to attend.  Tellico needs your support. 

I'll probably go for day Saturday.  I want to see the rock garden competition at Crawfords, see the vendors, and make contribution.  Might even drive the Jeep up.

Doug, it's not worth it. I went last year and it was a disapointment to say the least. It needs help but it is not going to get any better anytime soon with december being the final days of Tellico. Save the gas!

I wanted to be at Tellico last time. It just didnt work out. Sometimes people hold other people hostage.
