Ok, so I have to ask... what's wrong with the 44's!? I WISH I had 44's under mine. :'(
I've grown tired of this.

Well, a Rubbi 44 aint much more than a 30.

There's nothing "wrong" with a 44, but for a little more, you get a lot more.  A Dana 60 is said to be twice as strong as a 44, ring gear, shafts, tubes, especially the knuckles, everything is bigger, stronger.  Here say, so I'll be doing a little research.

Check out this list of axles, weakest to strongest:

Hey Mile L,  what kind did the fella from Jacksonville have under that JK at Tellico?

If it's that wheelin' warriors guy or what not, they are the Dynatracs. This guy had em at River Rock too...

The JK Dana 44 is not the same as the TJ Dana 44. The Rubi D44 has 32 spline shafts, a larger ring and pinion, 1350 u-joints, and stronger housing. There's nothing wrong with the axle at all, unless you want to run 40's. Even then you would probably be OK with a light skinny peddle.

Well, I know when or if I break my 35/30 combo I am going to the 44's. I will by the superior evolution series upgrade spline axles and go to a 35" tire and be DONE! If I break a 44 on 35's with a heavier spline count I must be doin somethin wrong.
I've grown tired of this.
