  Ok, I see where this is leading to than. I have taken many of these pre-physicals. Just work on your recovery time and wind. Do sprints! and LSD(long slow distance). Injury free training. The weight lifting your doing is fine, but you will blow it away. These are designed to get the "average" guy in the door. Now, when you finally do get in and lets say...swat is where you want to be. Than you will want to increase running and plyometric stuff.
  Today was an easy lift day. Did chest in the morning. 225lbs x 10 for warm-up than up the weight to 275, 315 x2, back to 295x3, than back to 225 for 6 reps. Cables and machines afterward. Than in the afternoon did a slow 2 miler in 17mins, and 5 mile bike ride after. Chime in!! {salute}

Thanks Glenn. I think my biggest would be the 1.5 mile run. Guess I better get to running! Once I get in who knows where I will go. My brother is a Sheriff in another county and he is on the rapid response team (sheriff version of SWAT I guess) and he loves it all. He is also a big bigger than me. About 3 inches shorter but probably the same weight and more muscle.

Not a problem. Also, to get where that run is easy just double it and you will adjust to the fatigue of the 1.5 distance. Did back and shoulders today in the morning and 650 crunches. The crunches took forever it seemed. Than did a slow 5k in 25 mins and a 5 mile bike. Chime in!! {popcorn}

Well not much over the weekend for me. Got in a pretty good bike ride but that's about it. It's amazing, you might can turn 30 minutes on a bike in the gym on high resistance but it just does not compare to actually riding.

Today is chest and tris and I need to up the cardio. Got to start working on that 1.5 mile... I also plan to time myself with the sit ups.

Did shoulders in the morning. Mission canceled so went back and did an hour and a half of cardio. Split it up between the bike and glider.

Nothing over the weekend. actually I'm on another break. Been having bad headaches and other things going on. I have a Dr.'s appointment next Monday to go blood results. Hopefully, they just need to adjust my blood pressure medicine. I have to get feeling good enough to start working out, this shit is killing me and it's really starting to piss me the hell off!

Blood pressure problems and working out don't mix well so you are doing right waiting to go to the doctor.

Well today I didn't do weights but we did run/walk today. It was probably a mile or so, more run than walk. After the run I had meg time me on 25 sit-ups and it took me about 55 seconds... Wow I forgot how much more sit-ups work than just simple crunches.
