Ben- your doing the workout I like to do!! MikeD, just google infidel and that was a pick that came up. Did nothing today. Had half the day off. Shot the pistol for an hour and ate cheesecake tonight!!  {salute}

Burgers and beer, AMEN!

I did another light workout tonight. Full body: Hit tri's, bi's, chest, shoulders, back, legs and finsihed with 60 crucnhes then cooled off with a .5 mile jog on the treadmill.

Work was a no-go. It rained and we got dime size hail. Go figure. Did back in the morning along with 550 crunches. Than ran 2 miles and did an additional 3 miles on the glider. Hope RR is fun!! I am waiting on the pics!!!!  {toast}

obviously not working out but I can say that I spend these last 2 days walking up and down trails, rocks and help pulling cables and for once in a LONG time I didnt feel like I was going to die from walking up a hill. Really I never even got short of breath!

Did another full body work out this morning! Added a few more reps on the crunches which gets me up to a total of 100. I'm considering on getting another gym membership while I'm here in Miami. Right now I'm using the club house and they don't have enough machines for working out the legs and I feel like I'm not completing my workouts when I can't do leg presses and calf lifts. Hopefully I get good information from the Dr. tomorrow and can start adding on the weights to my workout.

Steady as she goes Chuck ;D. The membership thing is hit or miss. I like having one just so I know that someone is getting my money, so I should use it. Golds is 5 miles from my house as well. Did chest today. No cardio. Keeping the weight under 300lbs on incline bench and getting more reps in. Did a bit more with dumbells today. {toast}

In the morning did shoulders and arms. 3 sets of barbell rows and 500 crunches as well. In the afternoon did 20mins of cardio. {popcorn}

Well, according to the Dr. here in Miami he does not want to put me on Cholesterol medicine because I have high liver enzymes, which comes from having high cholesterol and drinking alcohol. So guess what, it looks like the drinking days are over............. He told me to diet, exercise and take this vitamin for 1 month and then come back in and have the blood checked again. So I'm in the process of revising my diet plan and my work outs to every other day versus the 3 time week with weekends off.

All drinking? That sucks Chuck! But you got to do what the doc says. Worked in the morning here. Got in and did a quick 2 miles. Lited and did shoulders again actually heavier than yesterday {ehm}. Than ran another 2 miles this evening. Can you tell I am bored?

Hey Ghost,

Yep, all drinking! You always here people talking about how much they can save if they quit smoking right, well guess what, you can save money not drinking just as well. They few times sherry and I went out for diner we spent more on our drink or just as much for alcohol. It's nothing to spend $30 on drinks, sometimes two nights a week and then buy 2 bottles of wine and a bottle of SoCo Black Label, that's around $115 to $125 a week. That's easily pays for a gym membership and even a good trainer, or better yet Jeep parts!!!!!!!

Anyway, back to the subject -------- I'm thinking I may change up my routine: Right now I'm doing a full body workout every other day, which doesn't leave me any time for doing cardio and with needing to lose 80 pounds I need cardio. Now I'm thinking about separating the body parts for a 30 minute workout and then finish with a 30 minute jog on the treadmill. I think this will give plenty of rest between the muscle groups and also allows me to get in the cardio time that I need. I don't know, I may even go back to doing a body part for an hour every other night and doing just cardio on the off days. What do you think?

That's what I do do Chuck. 30 min weights 20-30 minute cardio and I think it is going fine.

This week is a little messed up for me with school yesterday and today. So tomorrow is heavy legs because I need improvement there with a mild cardio. Thursday is bench, bis, and some shoulders with another mild cardio and Friday is back and tris and like a 10 min cardio because Saturday is mountain bike day!
