Team fund! You know this! They were good!!! Believe me, I had 1 meeting and a certificate/ceremony to attend. No beer either, so try that one. Grilling with no beer!! :bs) Mass cardio day tomorrow for myself and a few other "buddies". Upholding a standard SSG!!! Its already in the 70's here!! and breezy.

I am about to break down and get on a workout schedule. Its just so hard to do and dedicate time for.

Time is the hard part. You just have to find that motivation that gets your fire going and be flexable on the time. With Megan and I both in school and jobs we r stuck to 3 days a week. We workout somewhere between 4:30 pm and 8 pm depending on work, dinner, homework ect. Somedays we can spare and hit a few extra exercises to really focus in on a group but sometimes all we have time for is a basic workout and short cardio

Trained arms today. I started doing them independently and results are better. 3 miler for cardio.

worked out today as well. The gym was almost empty (saw 5 people the whole time I was there). Since it was so empty I got to spend more time lifting and tossed in a few more exercises. As you see from my routine I basically hit every muscle group once. I got to do some additional shoulder work, 2 different biceps and triceps exercises and toss in more abs. No cardio today, plan to ride the bike tomorrow.

Didn't sleep all that good, might be all the caffine I take in or noexplode ;D. Did shoulders and legs. I got 235lbs for 3 reps on barbell press. After legs, went and did sprints. Rested for a few hours than 2 miler. Felt like I had a piano with a midget attached to my back! Long slow distance run tomorrow, no weights.

man your body must be really conditioned to weights now. I thought about going mountain biking today for a nice cardio workout but my legs hurt to walk down the stairs so I question how well they will hold me up. I guess the 1st week of serious weight training does that to you. I am about to go ride around the apartment complex though just to do something since its in the mid 60's and sunny today here.

On a side note, went to Costco today to do me some bulk shopping.... 12 chicken breast for $15... not bad. 16 cans of tuna for $14 a giant bag of broccoli for $4, and a big bag of almonds (not salted) for $8. I think I am going to change things up a little bit. Instead of my Nature Valley bar I am going to have a can of Tuna (mixed with a dash of pepper and a little bit of spicy mustard  {letseat} ). SO I already posted my meal plan but here are the totals eating Tuna instead of the bar. This on workout days with a 20g protein shake and BEFORE DINNER (but includes a spoonful of Pnut butter before bed). I feel I am low in the calorie section for someone 6'5", roughly 260 lbs, trying to lose weight but is weight training at the same time. Dinners are the normal, meat like chicken breast or ground turkey, maybe pasta or homemade tacos, always veggies, that kind of thing.

Calories: 1500
Carbs: 95
Protein: 138

Sounds good. Just keep an eye on your energy level and sugar cravings. I am still feeling the leg workout from 5 days ago. I guess I will know tomorrow how I feel from todays leg training. It was high rep stuff, but the sprints and the run sucked!! I guess I am trying to simulate fatigue initially and than going on the run. The Tri training starts in 3 weeks.  >:(

man goodluck with that! I got to start running more soon if I ever plan to hang with megan on a marathon...

Man I am watching this MTV True Life "I can't stay thin" and basically its kids around the 19-22 yr range, trying to lose weight and they go on these like wacko diets (or starve themselves) for a week but then on a Saturday or Sunday or in one girls case, on Valentines day, they go on major food chow down and eat like 3 hamburgers and 3 servings of fries...
