It was around 130 miles from my casa. I want to roll out at 6 but we can leave at 7 so you can sleep in a bit longer. :P You boys better be ready to hit the trails at 9am! I have to leave early to go home so I want to see it all... or most of it anyway!

WHAT? We want to see the new and improved BEAST!
Me too! It was Oct 11th 2008 since my last trip. People keep selling all kinds of stuff I can not resist. There is another TJ forsale I am thinking about right now too......

I need to call my 4x4 aholics sponser for help.   ;D

I killed him last week when he told me I shouldn't buy a rear selectable locker.  By the way, I'm picking it up at Morris Mountain this weekend  :P
That's why he won't return calls.

ARB?

hahaha, if you have tried calling me since last night my phone has been dead. I'm gonna to my friend's house to get the charger right now. Did you call?

Yep, Auburn ECTED

Well, I just wasted an hour of my employer's time on youtube searching "morrismountain".  I think I'm in over my head... :o.  I may  be spending a lot of time at the bottom of the hill.

Accuweather.com says low 20's at night....mid 40's to 50 in the day.  Lord help the fella that has to turn wrenches in a trail side repair.  Probably won't need to make a saturday run for ice.

I'm still in.  I forgot about picking up an hour at the alabama state line.  I may end up arriving pretty early friday morning.  I just don't know quite what to expect.  I need to see a place like this to learn what I need to further my jeep capabilities.  Also, I can camp this kind of weather and find some fun in it, but I wouldn't blame anybody for having second thoughts.

(edit to make clear...Some of the youtube stuff I was watching was more than I can do. But I'm looking forward to this weekend.  I spent a bunch of time and money to get to this point with this darn "car hobby".   If I knew some of you better, I could tell you about how people I love kept needing my jeep weekends the past couple years.  I've been waiting for a trail ride/campout like this.)

Steve, you will be suprised at how much trail is there that a stock jeep could do. Much less what a rig like yours can do. There is bypass for everything. Most videos are of a small portion of obstacles that are INSANE. I wont be doing those my self.

It will be cold, no doubt about it. But if its dry we cant ask for much more :) I think a few guys are going to arrive early on Friday. Get set up, check the place out, people will start showing up before you know it. I am just mad I wont get there in time to ride Friday.

Don't worry Steve.  I am in the same boat. I am trusting MATT, DOUG, ADAM  and I almost said BEN not to steer me wrong...  hahahah..  These guys won't steer you wrong ...  I HOPE ...  Any ways,  as long as there are by passes we will be okay.  I have to drive mine home 400 miles like you.  Don't ever be scared to say no, maybe, strap, or winch..  It will be fun...    {letseat} {popcorn}

yep you will all like it. Guys in buggies get challenged but remember if I make it I wheel be in a completely stock 4 door Rubicon... If I can make it around any slightly modded TJ can too.

You mean you forgot what this looks like

No I haven't forgotten what that looks like, but it wasn't that nasty either.

Yep, Daniel stuck. Nothin new there. :D

What are you talking about?  It's not like I get stuck everytime I get in my truck.  Only when it's wet and the Bighorns have got some age and miles on 'em... and the river sand sinks me... and when the mudhole has been rutted out... (I think that's it)
