We are feeding everyone Saturday. So just bring an empty gut and some chips if you want.  ;)

Daniel we got to get the stuff packed tonight. You realize that right.

Yeah, I realize that.  You wanna meet up and grab some pallets and everything or do you think the warden might have something to say?  ;)

Let's update the list in check in with arrival and departure times. I have to wait for a part to arrive UPS tomorrow before I leave. If it arrives early, I'm gonna throw it on before I leave. If not, I'll bring it with me for a field project. It will prolly take about an hour to install. I don't want to leave here later than 1:00, so if it ain't here yet, too bad.

For you guys arriving before me. Try to set up camp within 100 feet or so of the pavilion and save me a somewhat level spot for my campa please.  {toast}

Estimated Arrival --- Friday 4:00 PM
Departure ---         Sunday night

this is a chatty group...425 posts in this topic so far.  I'm looking forward to this event.  I don't think I've ever played outdoors when it's 15 degrees.  Every one at work says this show won't go on.  I'm really kind of surprised myself that most or all of you haven't pulled out.  I know you aren't moving forward just because fellas like me want to attend, but if it matters....I'll take my chances and if we all feel it's too cold to survive, no harm done.  I sound brave while I'm here in my warm office.

I'll have a fire going long before dark friday.  I think I have enough wood to last the first night, but the fire will have to be pretty big to make a dent in the temperature around the fire ring.  Depends on any wind or not.  I might have a beer or two before anyone gets there.

I haven't gotten to adding a winch yet.  I want a winch bumper and a few other things first.  I own a hi-lift jack, but it takes up a lot of room in the jeep.  I never needed it on the orlando club rides, so I started leaving it at home.  I also carry a good bottle jack for changing tires, etc.  Do I need to have my own hi-lift on the trail with you guys?  Do they get used much on these kind of trails?  I could leave it home otherwise.  I'll get it in the jeep if you prefer I have my own this weekend.

Plenty of people will have a high lift if needed. That's the beauty of riding with a good group. Chances are that if you need something, five other people will have what you need.

Don't sweat the cold. Just make sure you have plenty of warm clothes and blankets. The fire can always get bigger. You just need to make sure you will be warm sleeping or you won't sleep much. Wind and rain would make it much worse.

okay, thanks mr. livingston.  I'll decide tonight when I pack the jeep.

I'll probably/almost certainly be there friday moring.  I'm prepared to stay as long as the party lasts, but I might leave sunday evening.

Overpack for the conditions! I can't stress that enough for the cold! Walmart has handwarmers and foot warmers on sale! ;)

folks can say what they want about the cold but I say keep your feet and hands warm and you are ok. Your body will keep the core warm and sacrafice the limbs for it. Don't get your clothes wet since water tends to kill the insulation of most clothes.

I'll be study study study tonight boys. I got A lot of school work to cover first. I need to be there to see how bad Daniel gets stuck this trip
