Man, I am bummed. Nobody wishes me a happy bday yesterday and I did not have anyone buy me a diff cover. :'(

Sorry I missed your Birthday, Happy belated birthday Ben. I didn't get you a gift because I didn't know where to send it, and it sounded like you wouldn't wheel forever trying to brake in the new clutch. Enough BS Happy Birthday anyway, I hope you had a good one.

I called on my covers today and was told I have a 44 set aside for my order, and the 60 should be in by the end of the week and they should be shipped early next week.

when did you get a new clutch? what kind did you get? I don't think I'm too far off from needing one...

Read over on MC where somebody bought one and the bolt holes are around 1/8" off. Hope everyone over here has better luck with theirs.

But oh well, I won't be getting some. They don't make one for my rear axle and I want a RSS one for the front.

E M E R G E N C Y !!!!!!!!
I am in the process of installing my new SOLID DIFFS.  I only have about 1/4" clearance between the tie rod and the new cover...  will this be okay???..  How much clearance is needed????

Hurray.....  Jeep in yard with parts laying everywhere...

Thanks

Mike

yes that sould be fine as long as it not hitting it. put it on and have some one turn the wheels and see if it contacts it. I think you will be fine

you should be fine. Just do like rich said and turn lock to lock and it should clear. Mine is close as well. ;)
