Jeep Beach 2009 Daytona 5/15 - 5/17

Well it's been a hell of a weekend. The event was great and pretty well planned out. I heard there were a little over 300 jeeps at the speedway Saturday. Obstacle courses were fun and Mike showed everyone how GA boys crawl on the rocks.

Pictures later, meg and I are staying down here tonight but it looks like most everyone else has headed out. We went down to the beach today and wow folks can't drive or recover. Tide came in at 2 and pushed everyone to the soft sand. I had to keep 4x4 and several trucks/cars got stuck and people got stuck pulling them out. Kids these days....

Anyone heard/seen matt? I thought he was suppose to be down but never saw him or heard from him.

I hate you guys. I need a vacation real real bad. Obviously We did not get to go. I am heading to Colorado on May 30th (Which I did not even realize, was this months ride), pretty much a long road trip, sight seeing, etc. Unfortunately the wife has said no to me driving the jeep. She cant handle the shakes & noises for that long. So all my money has decipated for this trip.

 You know where the Jeep parade started at the beach entrance at the end of Intl Blvd? I had a patio room on the beach at the hotel on the right.
I missed the parade because I was still passed out from the night before lol
