I have carried a 35 on my stock YJ rear door since 2003 wth no issues.  If I recall, the only issue was having to raise the rear center stop light a few inches with some spacers.

I have a 35 on mine. I have the Warrior spacer and seems to be fine so far. Eventually will have tire carrier.

The stock tire carrier is carrying my 17" / 35" fine, just need longer spacers for the tire to rest on.
