What was your worst mod????

I installed a Daystar dash so I would have a place to put my cell phone....... well after I bought and installed the Daystar dash I put my phone in the phone holder only to find out that the phone sitting there throws off the Jeeps compass that is mounted on the underside of the dash I bought.  :

yeah I read a review like that the other week... i wanted one to hold the cell phone as well but I guess not!

front and rear bumpers, I kept banging them every time the jeep dropped off a ledge.

I had matching tube fenders and step bars on mine once, went to RR and found out quickly they were not going to survive. So now they are gone!!!!!!!!

I haven't done any mods to my jeep that I have regreted yet. then again I haven't done a whole lot to my jeep.

I'd say my biggest waste of money would be my front skid plate.  It cost too much and it way too thin.  But... I guess it's done something maybe.  That and it gets in the way of changing my oil... stupid thing.

Yeah Will, If i can sell my 30 for 500, i can do the 44 in September.  I am just going to do a Waggy 44, and switch it to a 5x5.5 pattern and run a spacer in the rear.  I think i can build it for less than 900.

every rig is different....

ex: i loved the 40 series flowmaster on my ZJ, so i put one one the wife's Tahoe. way too resonant. had to remove it.

another: loved the result of the K&N intake on Lori's Tahoe.... so i put one on my JK. oddly enough... WAY too resonant. had to remove it. (on a side note, the 40 series i pulled off the Tahoe is on the JK WTH???)

my ZJ? Lockrite in the D35. slammed and banged every time the tranny shifted. i hated it.

Tracker? haven't had a bad mod yet with it.
