Yes there is s public road going to the top of the mountain. The road had been there since before the civil war. This is what 1 rich arrogant land owner keeps trying to get closed and the courts keep saying no.

Yes there is part of the mountain that is members only with gates and keys. It is called the WeRock lease. I have been a member of that for going on 4 years.

Yes there are WFM areas up there.

Yes there are other hunting leases up there.

Know where you are going up there or get a guide.

What time is everyone planning on meeting up? Same place as the June ride? I am leaving my house at 6, and it should take about 4hrs to get there, I won't be spending the night like I first planned. Ted will be going and our friend Mark. All the jeeps have recovery points and CB. Last time I went I was discord and running the worn out 30x9.5 GS-A's,  but I've now got a new set of 31x10.5 m/t. Ted and Mark are both also stock, both on 31x10.5 street tires.
Last time I had no problem keeping up with the others, so it'll be up to those with the bigger rigs if we stay as a group or split up. I don't know my way around but I will have my old GPS that likes to randomly turn off.

Really excited tho, had a blast last time and looking forward to test out the new rubber!

Well it is looking like it is you 3, Larry, and I. His is the only larger rig, since I am only on 33's. I plan to be at the trail head that is listed on the GATR map at 10 and will probably have my CB on 7 all the way there so if you see a white and black xj with a spare tire hanging off the back just holler on the CB. Also, my cell # is listed in the members section if something comes up and ya'll are running late.
