Sorry, Im the newby, but can any one fill me in about the white jeep thing?

I have part of a white jeep (Still looking for a front clip).

They are attracted to mud holes. I think they just like the color contrast. Or maby to make the rust blend in better. For you nonsnow people. The cold white fluffy stuff you see on tv once a year thats called snow. They put salt on it because they say it melts faster. Which in turn makes every thing rust 1000 times faster then normal.
