Seriously, they are selling for that nationally.  They are getting fewer and the price is headed up.  I'm sure he'll cut ya some slack.   $1000 would be a screaming good deal.

Going to be very hard to find the 78-79 front for a decent price.I have seen two for sale in the last 3-4 years. One of those is under my Tj (Thanks Doug  ;D )and the other is under Jimmy's Xj. 87 to 91 is your next best bet for a king pin, little less room on the driver side but still a great axle to use.

Maybe, I got another guy in rockmart that is a little closer that only wants 200 for his 14 bolt. Your guy said $400 but he would take other offers so I will call chad in the am saturday and see if we can work a deal since he is a little further than rockmart.

You could prob. part it and get some of your money back, I found Jimmy the same truck here in Atl for $500, that is a deal that aint gonnna ever happen again. Ask for pictures of the front end before you drive down there. Snowfighter edition is rare.

Never mind I just reread it and saw it was a 1 ton, but I would still want to see pictures of the axles.
